Summary

According to Statistics Canada there were 266 homicides reported in Ontario in 2018, an increase of 69 from 2017. This is the highest number of homicides and the largest year over year increase reported in a single province since Statistics Canada began collecting this data in 1961. On Thursday September 20, 2018 Isaiah Thomas Macnab was shot and killed in broad daylight in downtown Kitchener, Ontario. That day his mother Kelly began to define her grief as the story of unfinished love. What you are about to hear is true. What you are about to feel is the anguish and pain of his mother, my friend Kelly as she candidly shares with those who dare to listen the story behind the statistic.
